Dance is a physical activity. Participation in any Audacity class, social dance, workshop or event is at your own risk. For your safety and efficient teaching, you must follow all reasonable instructions from Audacity teachers, staff or visiting dance professionals. You must not attend Audacity events if you are feeling unwell, have recently been exposed to or contracted an infectious disease in the previous seven days. It is your responsibility to disclose any underlying medical condition or injury risk to the officer in charge prior to you attending any event or class organised by Audacity Dance Attendance numbers are limited in line with any ACT government protocols in force at that time. We follow ACT Health regulations for dance halls we hire. Acceptance of your term registration provides an entry pass to attend class. There is no refund for a forfeited class from non-attendance. If the unlikely event you register and a class is oversubscribed then we will provide you with a pro rata credit or refund. If you cancel a term subscription after a few weeks we cannot guarantee any refund due to our commitment to lease the dance studio and pay teachers and meet overheads such as insurance. In an instance where we offer a shorter term pass, those classes must be used during the term purchased. Classes will not be honoured in a future term unless prior agreement has been obtained. You can choose to rotate partners or stay as a dedicated couple – your call. We aim to have hand sanitizer available that you should use on arrival and regularly during classes. Students are not permitted to “train” other students in class or at any Audacity event. Audacity staff may take vieos or photographs during events to be used to promote the dance and dance school. Your consent is implied unless you have notified us otherwise. Students are not permitted to video or take pictures of other students or teachers without given permission. The Audacity Code of Conduct is all about respect, being kind, inclusive and most of all putting safety first. Where there is any discrepancy between the code of conduct and the above dot points, the combination of both documents represents our legal position.
