Karolina choreographed a repeatable West Coast Swing-based line dance as a personal challenge. She is now sharing it with the Canberra WCS community. It is a great way to train your mind and body for WCS and dance movement in general.
Who is it for?
Solo Swing is follower-centric. This means all the patterns are based on follower footwork. Don’t let this stop you if you’re not a follower. Solo Swing is for everyone. Leaders are welcome and will still learn a lot.
What will you learn?
Solo Swing provides you with skills to accentuate your West Coast Swing. These include: ostreamlined footwork for basic patterns oalternative footwork patterns obody shaping oturn technique ostyling using your arms, shoulders, head and hips
What do you need to participate?
Knowledge of four basic patterns - the left side pass, sweetheart, whip and push break.

Solo Swing is a repetitive range of West Coast Swing patterns and freestyle moves danced without a partner (think of a line dance). Solo Swing is designed for you to practice your WCS and body movement on your own.
